“Get Reel, Go Fish”

New Hanover Preparatory School started the “Get Reel, Go Fish” bass fishing competition some 19 years ago as a fundraising event for the school. It has steadily grown into the largest bass fishing competition in the Southern Hemisphere boasting over 1 000 anglers for the past few events.

Situated in the picturesque farmland of the KZN Midlands, this competition is an incredible opportunity for anglers to fish at some of the 20 private farm dams which are open to participants once a year for this event. Whether you are an avid angler, a keen amateur or someone who enjoys casting a line whilst enjoying a lovely outing with family and friends, this is an event not to miss!

This year’s “Get Reel, Go Fish” 18th Farm Dams Bass Competition is taking place on Saturday, 12th March 2022.

Don’t miss out on this year’s event!
