Bernard Venter

Bernard Venter, is a Protea Artlure Angler and like the challenge of catching all freshwater fish species on artlure with more than 60 different freshwater fish species on his catching list. His favourite fish species is yellowfish. He is a contributor to Stywe Lyne / Tight Lines for the past 20 years and have done several series on the catching of different fish species on artlure. He is an admitted advocate with a special interest in the conservation of our aquatic ecosystems. He is well-known amongst anglers for organizing fishing tournaments such as the Bloemhof Dam Bonanza. Bernard is happily married with Ida and they have three adult children. Conservation: SASACC Conservation Officer, Trustee & Founder of Eco-Care Trust.
