CARP FISHING: How To Boost Your Baits

Bait is probably one of the most important aspects when it comes to carp fishing. After location, this is the next aspect I look at. Now when I say bait, I am specifically talking about the groundfeed you plan to use, and not hookbaits.

What you use depends on where you go to fish, budget, size of carp, pressure on carp, time of year and personal preference. At some venues feed will fall more into a boilies, pellets or a fine attractor mix approach, where on other waters it will be a more particle-orientated approach. I use both as I fish different waters around the country. For now let’s discuss the boilie approach.
