The D-rig
A fantastic rig to use on clear bottoms with wafting hookbaits. This rig has brilliant attributes that make it very effective! The first of these would be the anti-tangle properties, secondly it will always reset itself and lay flat on the bottom with the wafting hookbait hovering just above the hook ready to grab hold of the carp’s bottom lip. With the hook point always facing down as the bait gets lifted it is a very efficient hooker of fish. It is super easy to tie and ultra-strong, why would you not want to make it part of your armoury?
