Excellent Weather at Inanda for Major Bass KZN

Major Bass KZN had a good turnout of 28 members attending the 12th and final Fish Off of the 2019/2020 season at Inanda, made up of 5 juniors, 7 ladies and 16 men. 

With the water level up to 81% and the temperature at 33°C, the weather was excellent, delivering very hot days throughout the weekend that prompted many of the members to cool off in the water.

The Captains meeting on Saturday decided that the Saturday session would start at 09:00 and end at 17:30, with Sunday starting at 05:00 until 12:00. 

Fishing was not easy, however some members found the fish in the back of bays in the early and late parts on the day, and with some fish deep during the heat of the day.

WINNERS

First Overall – Harry Adamson with 13.00 points; Second Overall – Richard Randlehoff with 11.46 points, Third Overall – Chris Smith with 11.40 points. Fourth overall with the coveted Rose Bowl– Paul Koekemoer with 11.26 points. First Lady – Laura Smith with 9.64 points. First Junior – Tyson with 3.96 points (he caught his PB, 1.5kg).
