FISHING THE WORLD WITH ‘HALF PAST, FIRST CAST’: Time To Hit The Water

After a glorious time covering the recent Bass Classic, husband Pete is going to be unbearable if he doesn’t get out on our local waters soon, so we’ll be spending the upcoming weekends “product testing” and trying to clear our minds.
If you are also trying to get away to give the South African winter a miss, we have an option that you might want to explore:
- We have two rooms available at El Salto from either June 22-26 or 22-29. It’s prime time for a deep cranking or swimbait bite, and the number of big bass this year has been exceptional.
- Casa Vieja Lodge in Guatemala has availability during their “Singles Week”, November 20-24. Last year they had some incredible days in November and that’s why we put together a group to go just a bit earlier that month. If you can’t get a group together, this is a fantastic way to experience the best sailfishing on earth.
- Our January 2025 trip to Panama still has some openings, but the available spaces have shrunk. We’re heading back this May, but that trip is full, so you’ll want to sign up in January before the limited spaces run out.
