Major Bass KZN Hazelmere Fish Off

A great turnout of 27 members including 7 ladies fished the September Fish Off at Hazelmere that was the preferred venue as selected by the members at the last Fish-Off. With the dam level at some 67% with water temperature around the 70°F mark, the weather was excellent, being cool in the mornings, warm during the day, and with very little wind.

The Captains meeting was held on Saturday at 09h00. The fishing times were agreed with

Saturday commencing at 09h00 and ending at 17h00. Sunday started at 06h00 until 12h00.

RESULTS:

First Overall – Kobus Cronje with 17.20 points; Second Overall – Harry Adamson with 15.73 points; Third Overall – Ken Ground with 14.374 points; Fourth overall (the coveted Rose Bowl) – Ken Ainslie with 12.46 points; First Lady: – Annette Ground with 8.11 points.
