The Forever Resort Loskop Dam is situated in Mpumalanga just 50 km north of Middelburg and 230 km from Johannesburg in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Loskop Dam Nature Reserve. The dam is built in the Olifants River that flows all the way to Mozambique and is surrounded by the Waterberg Mountain range, with various game species on its shoreline grazing in the game reserve.
Loskop Dam is undoubtedly one of the most popular fishing spots, especially for artlure fishing, with up to 13 different fish species that can be caught. Various fishing competitions for catfish, tilapia, carp and bass, are held throughout the year. Boats are launched from several slipways, and there is ample space to park boat trailers.
The resort offers convenient caravan and camping spots close to the water with well-maintained ablution and toilet facilities, 3-bedroom houses, rondavels and timber chalets, both cold and heated swimming pools and a licensed restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
